I took these photos at 10:45 pm, last night. My circadian rhythm is being played. 2 am bedtimes are now the norm. So, so sleepy. It's like living on a parallel universe. At least not the 43rd that I'm used to.

Yesterday we hit 42 degrees Celsius with the humidex. You should have been here!
You enjoy watching people trip because you feel a kinship towards them.
What the hell is an artikel?
Your pictures are beautiful in an eerie way. I was expecting to see Dracula hiding behind something.

aha! so this explains why you all have those heavy-duty-block-out-every-bit-of-light prison shutters in Germany. I'd love to get some for Charlotte's room :)

So do you slow walk your way to an afternoon nap? Watching people trip is where we agree, but slow walking is for chumps.

There is no how-to for making jams and jellies on this site.  Maybe there will be one day.  For now, The Canning Table is a big wooden metaphor for preserving memories while my family and I explore expat life.
